nun ist sein Leiden gantz vollbracht/
nun hat er seiner Seelen-Pfand
geliefert in des Vaters Hand.

Now as my Jesus bids good night,
now his suffering is fully accomplished,
now he has his soul’s pledge
delivered into his Father’s hand.
