Lob sey dem allmächtigen Gott/
der sich unser erbarmet hat/
gesandt seinn allerliebsten Sohn/
aus ihm gebohrn im höchsten Thron.
English
Praise be to the almighty God
who has taken pity on us,
has sent his dearest Son,
born of Him in the highest throne.
