Erbarm dich mein / O Herre Gott!
nach deiner grossn Barmhertzigkeit
wasch ab mach rein mein Missethat
ich erkenn mein Sünd und ist mir leid
allein ich dir gesündget hab
das ist wieder mich stetiglich
das Böss für dir mag nicht bestahn
du bleibst gerecht
ob man urtheilt dich [mich].
English
Have mercy upon me, O Lord God,
according to your great kindness.
Wash away and make clean my misdeeds.
I acknowledge my sin and am sorry;
against you only have I sinned;
that is constantly against me.
Evil cannot persist before you;
you remain righteous,
however I am judged.
